I hate kids.
As someone who had to teach teens (13 year olds) in school, I can confirm. Kids are intensely hate-able :D.
Is there more to say about kids...

Ghostbreed: Why is this shit still going? Haven't they whored out those kids long enough now?
It wasn't even funny when it was new. It's just insulting to those who were around when things were new and revolutionary.
I have a better question. Have YOU whored yourself out for a Game Boy?
Technology was EXPENSIVE. Blaming kids, whether oldtimey or modern, for not being to tell oldtimey onepercenter toys apart? The fuck.
We were all kids once and we're all probably worse than our parents were as they were kids and even more spoiled thanks to the march of technology.

One thing is certain though, *people* (not just kids) and their pets have been exploited from the cradle to the grave. Infants have been issued credit cards, middle-aged crazies have been given credit cards, dead relatives have been issued credit cards and apparently they all accrue some form of charge. (Go figure.)

People pay through the nose to buy the nicest things for their infants who don't even become to appreciate them until they are in their teens and then only the most expensive clothing and make-up will make up for all the years of tantrums one had to endure. Such is life, a much enriching experience.

I hate people. Kids are just small versions.
I'm fine with the show to be honest. Yeah they don't know what the older things are because they were not exposed to such things before/in their heyday. I bet if you asked most 90's kids, they would react with bafflement at stuff like the Amiga, DOS titles and such. Its just normal to not know if you... well don't know and naturally when confronted with anything you would think first 'What is this similar looking to?'.

This though applies to anything really. I could throw numerous indie games or older titles at self-confessed gaming nerds and theres always the good chance they wont know. Not their fault.

I find the whole react episode things amusing enough myself, they are a far cry away from the snot-nosed jackasses I've dealt with and they seem to cast to try and avoid the really brutally whiny/annoying sorts.

If they can buy / have an iphone now; they would've had more than enough for GB then..................

On a serious note though; this is the exact kinda thing that gets more shares than more legit and informative content on the internet. I always see these react videos take big numbers on youtube, which is kinda sad really.

If there's a problem with the show and the kids, it's not that they don't know what a gameboy is but that they know too well what a camera is. ;)

I saw one "episode" where they showed a bunch of Apple and Android-spoiled kids a Game Boy. Not the latest version, but that huge grey brick version.

One of the Apple kids said, IS THIS A CASE FOR YOUR IPHONE?!

I wanted to destroy something. Ruin something.
Why don't you take it up with The Fine Bros then. The kids clearly enjoy doing it so what in God's name is the problem?!

Like I said, kids are cruel Ghostbreed, and I'm very in touch with my inner child!
