Must be. This was first released 7 years ago. Why pay full price for a complete game when you can pay up front for an episodic game and wait most of a decade for something to be completed? On the other hand, at least they didn't abandon it, unlike too many early access games.
Time to play it then! XP
So, anyone tried it here yet?

I bought it on Humble back in the days; of course the DRM-free installer over there was last updated 2016, and on Steam I get a "KentuckyRouteZero.exe has stopped working" message right after the company logos. Totally worth the 7 year wait! XD
Now I finally play the game. lol i had bought it years ago but wanted to hold out until the final act was released.

You called? :-D

Sure seems to have taken a while but they got there in the end, better than never and all that.
Finally! The mystery unfolds ... NOT?

Thanks! I still had to refresh the library page a few times before the new file showed up but now I can access it, too.
Congratulations to the developers for managing to reach the end. Most never do.
Started playing it about 2 weeks ago by pure random chance, and to be honest, I was hooked pretty quickly.

Much better than the previous couple of games I decided to try (one was a genre I don't really 'get into', the other I hit super bad controller issues at the first boss fight). That I get the final act is frosting on the cake.
it is a really good game and one of the few examples of magical realism in games. I just wonder what the final episode is like. I cannot wait to play it. Unfortunately, I do not own it on GOG, but maybe one day I will go for a DRM-free version.

Funnily enough, Hades (the new game from Supergiant), did quite recently receive the "Long Winter Update".
