This is the second time I see "Ken Follett's Pillars of the Earth" on sale on another platform (in this case WingameStore )
much cheaper than it is on sale on GOG. The last time was the Wintersale and I even told GOG about that (it was 7 Euro price difference anyway. I waited until the last day of GOG Wintersale but the price stayed so I did not buy.
Daedalic seems to like bringing games to GOG but other than that ....
It took me months until they finally sent GOG the patch for Blackguards which fixed a game breaking bug.
The German gamers still are waiting for the ORIGINAL German versions of "Chains of Satinav" and "Memoria". GOG months or even years ago told us that we should wait ... well, we still do. Both games are multi language and DRM-free available on humble store for years now and they are often on sale. Why should I buy them here instead? Then a user tried to contact the CEO of Daedalic Carsten Fichtelmann and he wanted to explain and clear everything up ... all that happened was that he did not say anything anymore. I will try to contact him again but seeing how Daedalic (which btw. is company from my home town) is treating the GOG customer really makes me angry.
I really like their games and I loved them in their early days. These things however are showing me that they don't really care about GOG at all. Given that even with their first retail game (Edna bricht aus / Edna & Harvey: The breakout) they did not want DRM in it I really don't understand why they do trat a DRM-free platform different than Steam.
