It’s time to brew coffee and stretch your fingers – after a few years of absence, the Insomnia Promo event is back on GOG! With it arrive the best deals and the exciting anticipation that will drive away your sleep, while also giving loads of fun!

This Summer Sale on GOG is already full of deep discounts, yet we saved the most delicious treats, especially for the Insomnia Promo. How does it work? Starting now, once every 6 hours a new great game will appear here, bearing an insanely deep discount. Right now, you can already see the first title – the best-selling strategy game Frostpunk 85% off!

What’s the catch? Every game appearing during the event will only have 6 hours to catch your attention. After the time runs out, a new game will appear, while the former one will get back on our Summer Sale with the initial, lower discount. The other factor you have to be aware of is the limited stock of Insomnia deals!

So, be on the lookout, because cool titles like Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Don't Dry and Solasta: Crown of the Magister Supporter Edition are bound to appear at the Insomnia Promo event at some time (when? We’ll just have to wait and see ;)). So, take that caffeine shot and be on the lookout for great discounted games!

MarkoH01: Which was? (Link is not working anymore)
It was Starbase Startopia I am pretty sure, which was $29.99 AUD, so the Insomnia discount price was no longer by the time I checked.

We've had - Field of Glory II: Medieval + Tropico 6 + Starbase Startopia behind the scenes hidden by PC Building Simulator, and Dungeons 3 was also hidden for a while too.

EDIT
Yes it was Starbase Startopia, just saw it in my orders ... I'd forgotten to remove it from the cart.

Timboli: Someone woke up, seems to be fixed now.

Dungeons 3 is the current one.

Next change in 1 min .... Opus Magnum I presume.

Sorry I forgot to refresh the page.
Dungeons 3 had 48 copies sold when I checked (out of a total 300 copies offered)

Next game predicted to be: Interstellar Space: Genesis

GOG just can't seem to make it easy for us list-compilers, can it. *sigh* Oh well... I'm going to try and salvage something out of this.

So no second time LEGO Batman 3 until now?

Yep they changed the nature of the challenge, which lupineshadow won. :)

You had to find another way to add the hidden games to your cart with the Insomnia discount. LOL

Did we miss a game, though? Or was there no "regular" Rewind deal for 04:00? From what I understand, there was:

- 01:00 UTC - Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Heart of the Forest
- 02:00 UTC - Human Resource Machine
- 03:00 UTC - Field of Glory II
- 04:00 UTC (extra, 6 hrs) - PC Building Simulator
- 05:00 UTC - Field of Glory II: Medieval
- 06:00 UTC - Tropico 6
- 07:00 UTC - Spacebase Startopia
- 08:00 UTC - Dungeons 3
- 09:00 UTC - Opus Magnum
- 10:00 UTC (upcoming) - Interstellar Space: Genesis
Also, I suppose that all Rewind deals were at their regular Insomnia discounts and at 500 copies available.

the more recently listed Insomnia Rewind games, specifically Dungeons 3 and Opus Magnum, have had their stock quantities reduced from 500 to 300 copies

as for the games that were "hidden" (Field of Glory II: Medieval, Tropico 6, Spacebase Startopia) due to PC Building Simulator being belatedly shown ... I don't know if anyone managed to be able to ascertain the exact number of copies offered for each of those games, ... it wasn't until Dungeons 3 managed to be shown, that the JSON page's 'sold' counter could be observed again

Some have suggested/speculated that PC Building Simulator was the game that failed to show before the REWIND at number 50, and so it was slotted in at 04:00 UTC in the REWIND, but they forgot to change the duration to one hour.

EDIT
The fact PC Building Simulator did not stay the full 6 hour duration would also indicate that was the case. At some point in its sixth hour it was replaced by Dungeons 3, which did not get its full hour duration ... less than 30 minutes it seemed to me (displayed).

Thank you all, though a lot of past info is still void - if anyone can chime in with something missing (or if I got anything wrong), feel free to poke me.

Good point. I'll put those at 300 and leave the older ones at ?, unless someone corrects it.

Not my usual genre (never played one), and I'm also on Linux, and you keep hearing counless people raving about MOO, but those graphics... and seems to be a slow burning game too. So could not resist the second chance (missed the first) to snag Interstellar Space: Genesis at it's historical low...

Snagged Opus Magnum earlier too (also refrained from purchasing it earlier too)...

Edit:

Interstellar Space: Genesis sold 57 copies...

The jump to 59 must have been in the absolute last seconds, because I was seeing the 58, at 20 seconds.
52 Narita Boy copies sold at the end of the sale.
