It’s time to brew coffee and stretch your fingers – after a few years of absence, the Insomnia Promo event is back on GOG! With it arrive the best deals and the exciting anticipation that will drive away your sleep, while also giving loads of fun!

This Summer Sale on GOG is already full of deep discounts, yet we saved the most delicious treats, especially for the Insomnia Promo. How does it work? Starting now, once every 6 hours a new great game will appear here, bearing an insanely deep discount. Right now, you can already see the first title – the best-selling strategy game Frostpunk 85% off!

What’s the catch? Every game appearing during the event will only have 6 hours to catch your attention. After the time runs out, a new game will appear, while the former one will get back on our Summer Sale with the initial, lower discount. The other factor you have to be aware of is the limited stock of Insomnia deals!

So, be on the lookout, because cool titles like Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Don't Dry and Solasta: Crown of the Magister Supporter Edition are bound to appear at the Insomnia Promo event at some time (when? We’ll just have to wait and see ;)). So, take that caffeine shot and be on the lookout for great discounted games!
Yu-hu, my first Imsomnia Sale, what exciting! Tons of iced coffee that is Summer!

PaterAlf: It's sad that you can't at leat buy one copy as a gift. Also it would be nice, if you could change the layout one the homepage, so that one can at least see which game is on sale, even if you can't buy it.
They have updated the layout, removing the frosting that prevented you from seeing which game it was.

The text is still low contrast, but it is an improvement.
Not exactly old-style Insomnia (with new arrivals not scheduled but triggered by empty stock of a previous promo), but it's great to see both Insomnia and GOG listening to community wishes :D

As we're all older today, it's perhaps even better to have those rolling times fixed as it is now ;)

Thanks, GOG and see you in 2h 40m! :D
"Insomnia sales" = "customer disrespecting sales method and peak FOMO 'pay attention to us' nonsense". I don't get why weirdo people ask for or participate in them.
Nice to see Insomnia back:)

The big deal about the Insomnia sale was the community! People getting more copies for those in time zones that wouldn't have been able to see them, great inside jokes, lots of new people meeting, sharing love for some obscure titles... last but not least, the Keaning.

Today... heh. I don't think I have to explain.
(not Nox™)
Oh My Gosh, now I gotta log in every 6 hours! (fiddles with phone...goes to alarms...sets up some recurring alarms...4 should do..just need to change the day daily...coffee, coffee, where's the coffee...)

Wait wait wait! How long do I have to do this?!
.
P.S. True story...

Why is the price changing so often? I've seen it go from $4.49 to $2.24 to $3.70 to $1.80 all in a few minutes. It still says $4.49 when I click "Buy now", though.

Maybe one too many cups of coffee? =P

JK, I can confirm what you're saying though, since I just saw the 1.8 price myself. Actually it just said 1.8, no dollar signs.

That's ok though, in 1 hr and 50 mins, we'll be so deep into coffee, it won't even matter and there's be a new game lol.

CMOT70: ...
Anyway, who's taking bets on the next game in the line? Fantasy, indie turn based. I'm predicting "Slay the Spire".

Maybe Terminator: Resistance will show up and make some people happy. I ended up paying full price for it and Annihilation Line.

Thanks, if that stays up, it might actually be useful. Anyway, judging by the tags, seems like the next game up will be Solasta: Crown of the Magister.
I'm kind of tempted in getting Frostpunk now. I've actually always been kind of interested in it, and I just watched a gameplay video of it while I was eating lunch which got me even more interested. But I don't know... is it better to get the other version, cause the one that's on sale now through the Insomnia Promo is only the base game right?

Also, as a huge fan of the Anno games, especially 1701 and 1404 (and 1800 too I guess, only from watching videos and looking at screenshots ehe), would it be kind of the same experience or maybe not so much?
