People like you wouldn't stop at the same level of insults and abuse, just because people got thicker skin, you would continue to up the ante until you caused upset again. That what a troll is. You find someone's breaking point and push past it.

Its bullying. Neurologically its every bit hurtful as being spat at or having your property destroy or being trapped in the corner while people punch you (though that has physical damage too).

No, can't. There's a limit of what you can troll before you get banned for breaking rules. You can't simply use racist insult and get away with it with mild trolling excuse.

I would like to add my own .02 after having experienced what is Steam support for a compromised account. First I send in a ticket which gets a automated reply. Then I reply back. Then I add more information. Next day no response so I close the ticket and open with another e-mail address that is not hacked. Two days later (account compromised on Monday and ticket created right away), I get a reply on the orginial e-mail address and have proceeded to get the replies 4 DAYS LATE for the first e-mail address but same-day at the other. It's a shame there is no PHONE SUPPORT so I could oh I dunno, GET THE ACCOUNT BACK (I tried the phone on Friday-the one I found online that IS for Valve. No dice on a non-computer response). For all its faults, EA does one thing right in compromised accounts if you have the information-you get it back quick. I have 2 people on my friend's list watching the account to try to head off any transactions that occur.

So if those rules where not there, you would just keep insulting.

As I said, you bully people and think its OK. You blame your victims for your actions. The only thing that stops you escalating your attacks is the threat of a ban, rather than your own moral compass.

Just ignore the toxic numpty. We've had far more than enough of that crap recently on here and I'd rather not see another newer user get dragged into some spat with an idiot when they could be enjoying the forum a whole lot more. :)

Steam forums have become a very unpleasent place. The level of censorship and propaganda would mske the most oppresive dictatorship proud.

Speaking of morality, I'd rather save it for real life than a random forum on Internet. Worrying about attacks on forum... sounds very weak.
