Would help if you gave us more info, specs, what OS you're using, etc? And did you try to contact support?

Which game are you talking about?

And what are your pc specs? And OS? You can also contact support if we cant find a solution here.
Is the "Try running it as administrator" comment still applicable or is everything installed with admin rights by default these days?
I'm guessing the game is
Brigador

Be sure to check here: https://support.gog.com/hc/en-us/articles/213039345

Contact support, too. Of they can't get it working, you may be entitled to your money back. That said, a gtx460 is quite a bit different than a 9900gtx, so I would argue you don't meet minimum specs. It's possible the game is trying to do something your game can't handle.

Be certain you have direct x9.0c.
If you can get to any settings get then as low and off as possible.

But definitely contact support.
when was that released? That looks great.

I've had zero issues with the 50+ steam purchases. Sure would be helpful if there was any friggin clue as to why it decided to crash.

Doesn't matter. This isn't Steam.

As said above contact support, they are usually pretty good.

But you can also try to make sure that you have Legacy Features and DirectPlay installed in the optional windows settings. The game might not need as it might be too new, but its worth checking.

And the game looks pretty good. Managed to miss that. somehow.

Thank god you've had zero issues with Steam because they don't have any support. There if a game breaks, too bad. You can return it but no one is going to help getting it running.

Contact support. Though they will most likely want to try and fix the issue first.

You'll have to work with Support to try to get it working first, and GOG staff aren't in until Monday, so be patient. If you work with them but are still unable to get the game running, you'll be entitled to a refund.
I can see how this leaves a bad impression if this is your very first purchase here, but I'd be really surprised if you didn't have the same issues with the Steam version of Brigador as well. It might be different with older games, but with these new ones it's much more likely that the fault lies with the game, developer or your system setup, I doubt GOG does anything to these new games but wrap them into their installer.

You got unlucky this time, just like you always got lucky on Steam before. Because the same could have happened to you on Steam, while others may have had not an single issue ever with purchases on GOG.

The refund policy might be a bit better on Steam, although you probably wouldn't get your money back right away on a weekend there either, or would you?
