I just bought Jade empire from this website and its not playing for me. Every time I click play it just x's out on me. Could somebody help me fix this problem?

Make sure you include your computer's specs, in the Game Specific Forum,
that moonshineshadow posted a link to in the above post, too.

It will help other GoG members here, or GoG staff to figure out what the issues might be.

Also, feel free to make a support ticket to see if that can figure it out for you.

I'd try two things first.

One - right click the shortcut, click properties, compatibility tab and make sure "Run as Admin" is checked. Also, make sure none of the other boxes are check (disable high DPI might be, that one is okay)

Also, what's your desktop resolution? Maybe try changing it to something that is more "native" to the game, just to start to narrow it down? But I'd check the admin setting first.
