The game was announced a while ago, so I'm surprised to see that there hasn't been an announcement trailer until now. Since we already have Ittle Dew here as well as Card City Nights, hopefully Ittle Dew 2 releasing here will be a given.

I have to say, though I am excited for the game, I'm a little uncertain about the switch to 3D graphics. I loved the look of the original Ittle Dew, and I can't help but think the change to 3D might take away some of the charm.
Why wasn't this released here?

I totally forgot about Ittle Dew 2. :D

I just had a look and it was released on November 15th 2016 on Steam:

I'm still extremely aggravated that I can't play the first one anymore, since I'm locked in the final chamber with the end boss. I can't beat him, and I never got to play the bonus dungeon, but once you initiate the final boss battle your save game is locked in.

I seem to remember the end boss was quite hard compared to anything else in the game, but not unbeatable by any means. Don't give up!
The first one sucked, so I'll stay far away from this one.

Nicalis.

Even if you choose not to save?

Indeed. The moment you open the door it locks the savegame.

Wish I had known that beforehand.
I honestly forgot the sequel came out. Maybe when it goes on sale (or gets released here, but with Nicalis as the publisher I doubt it) I'll finally try it.

Why does the game save there without your permission? I consider that to be malicious on the part of the developers.
