BlackMageJ: The "Hope You Came Prepared" sale- massive discounts on DLC, but all the base games are temporarily removed from sale, so you can only take advantage of the offers on games you already own.
That is an awesome idea for a sale, so here's one inspired by it:

The "OCD Ackbar sale". Where the last title in any series is heavily discounted, but the first game in every series takes a huge price increase. Discounts on the newest titles only go on for May 1st, while the increased price for the first title stays in effect for the rest of the year. (Only valid for series with at least 3 titles made within 5 years of the first, not valid in Nebraska)

"The negative correlation sale" - discount based on rating - the lower the rating the higher the discount.
so games with 5 stars - 0% off
Games with 4 stars - 10% off
Games with 3 stars - 30% off
Games with 2 stars - 50% off
Games with 1 star - 70% off
Games with <1 star - 90% off

Oh shit, that's good. GOG is definitely going to steal that idea... hmmmm

...

Excuse me, I have to go review every game on my wishlist.

Speaking of wishlists, how about the "Good Things Come to Those Who Wait " sale. Where games are discounted based on how long they've been on your wishlist. The longer it's been on your list the bigger the discount. (games purchased during the sale are not eligible for gifting, not valid in Nebraska). Sale set on April 1st.
How about:

The sale which is happening whilst a sale is on sale.

Yes, this is how daft the store has become, multiple "sales" on at the same time!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but GOG pretty much already does the sale, within a sale, within a sale thing. And GOG still isn't nearly as bad as Steam was pre-refund policy. "Flash" sales with a game that was 50% off during the regular sale goes to 75% off for like three hours or something.

But in that vein:

The "Bargain Hunter" sale (see attached). Where all games that are on sale are doublly on sale! That's right GOG has cloned every game's store page and one is more heavily discounted than the other! Can YOU find the best deal? (Only games actually on sale have cloned store pages, not valid in Nebraska) set on November 11th.
