I know this is a kinda weird place to ask but I figured since this is a place with people from nearly everywhere who like to play games I might as well try. I made a Japanese PSN on my PS3 account and recently tried to buy a few things from it and got nothing but problems. I had used it for redeeming codes with things I imported but when I tired using my credit card using this guide I got nothing. It kept saying funds could not be added. I was wondering if there was anyone here who could help me with this or recommend a place to get Japanese PSN point cards for a decent price. Most of the places I've seen up the price about 10 dollars up.

I don't have a japanese account, but I have american and european ones and despite having an international credit card I can't buy from them. I had to give a fake address for them and, obviously, it doesn't match my credit card information. You might be having a similar problem.

As for japanese psn points, this was the first result from google: http://www.japan-codes.com/shop/playstation-network-card-1000jpy/

Yeah that is what I was thinking it was a address thing. I was not really sure though, well thanks for the information and the tip for Japan-codes of heard them and Play-asia are worth checking out for that kinda stuff, even though there is mark-up at least I would be able to get the stuff exclusive to their store.

Also if you need a American PSN card code or anything I could go buy you one or something at a store and you could just pay me back in GOG games or something.

Indeed, your only option is to go with PSN cards. I'm French with my regular PAL account and own another US account with a fake adress somewhere in Australia.. For the US my VISA credit card won't add funds, and my Paypal won't add funds either using the official Sony website. I get my cards from MMOGA but don't see any japanese cards.

Ah well thanks for the help guys, I was afraid I would just have to buy the cards at a mark up, but really it is not that bad since I can get stuff that was not released here in the US.

I wish I could have helped more. I actually saw the link to Play-Asia, but it was a little bit more expensive so I went with that one.

As for your offer, thank you, but it's not necessary. Amazon sells online codes for no extra charge.

I thought I've seen at least one person around here who was from Japan, forgot his name though. They're under-represented in PC gaming in general and that's reflected here I guess.

Never heard of them but I'll probably give it a try here soon. I just got Gundam Extreme Vs. Full Boost and would love some of the dlc. So I'll give it a shot. Thanks a ton man seems like a good deal.
