Hio!

I like getting achievements for the solo games I play. It adds a bit more for me to do in the games that I love. I also like to record all my achievements, but I can't seem to find a way way to link people to my GOG achievements. Is there something I'm missing or is this something being considered for future implementation? I'd just really like to proudly display a link that says, "Hey- I played the crap out of this game. It's awesome."

Thanks in advance.

No idea. Haha.

But maybe a review on the game page? I know, it doesn't help display your achievements but it would help with the, "Hey- I played the crap out of this game. It's awesome." part.

There might also be something on the GOGWiki.

Not really, you got to remember this is still in early development. I'd imagine we will eventually have profiles were you can share achievements, play time, ect.

I guess you could always take a pic and share it until then. ;)

Right now there is only achievements for the Witcher 2 and the Witcher 3 I believe, but they plan on adding it later for more games if not most.

Here is a link to show the achievements for W2 and W3, Link

Yeah, like when people were still taking photos of their highscores and sending in to magazines.

Right. Sometimes old school is cool too. xD
Achievements are a hierarchical structured thing on GOG. GOG being the base of the achievement tree structure, GOG themselves have to unlock certain achievements first before the lower leaves of the tree-like achievement structure become unlocked and available in games for others. Here are the as yet still-locked achievements that GOG needs to work hard to achieve before the rest of the tree opens up for us underneath that:

[ ] Fix the endless bugs son the GOG.com website.
[ ] Make 1 more feature user-visible in Galaxy client beta to users way before the feature is even 5% working.
[ ] Make 5 more features user-visible in Galaxy client beta to users way before the feature is even 5% working.
[ ] Make 10 more features user-visible in Galaxy client beta to users way before the feature is even 5% working.
[ ] Fix 1 bugs in Galaxy client that cause catastrophic data loss if encountered by beta testers.
[ ] Fix 5 bugs in Galaxy client that cause catastrophic data loss if encountered by beta testers.
[ ] Fix 10 bugs in Galaxy client that cause catastrophic data loss if encountered by beta testers.
[ ] Play The Witcher 3 and accumulate 100 hours of gameplay combined total of all Galaxy team developers.
[ ] Play The Witcher 3 and accumulate 250 hours of gameplay combined total of all Galaxy team developers.
[ ] Play The Witcher 3 and accumulate 500 hours of gameplay combined total of all Galaxy team developers.
[ ] Remove permanently 1 feature from GOG website that many users rely on heavily.
[ ] Remove permanently 5 features from GOG website that many users rely on heavily.
[ ] Add ability to search for and add friends to GOG Galaxy and the website.
<snip 100 other varied achievments>
[ ] Finish developing the other 95% of code to make achievements system functional in Galaxy and on website.

That's just a sample of the achievements they have to unlock leading up to the last one. Then achievements should be visible to everyone but probably very buggy and glitchy. Beta! :)

You forgot the epic [ ] Play The Witcher 3 and accumulate 500 hours of gameplay each for all Galaxy team developers.
