Catshade: ...so realistically we will get AssCreed 2 and that's it.
Nah. I want me some AssCreed Bro: Deluxe Porno Edition. Maybe homo. =P

Seriously, whoever came up with that abbreviation needs to be high five'd for making it sound so utterly retarded.
I'd definitely appreciate to see more AC on GOG.

Also, although the first one is pretty different from the rest gameplay-wise, I'd still recommend it if you ever want to play the others, otherwise it just might not make too much sense at all.

I played the first one a bit, got bored, finished watching the story cutscenes in youtube. Good enough.

Catshade: I don't see Ubisoft rewriting their multiplayer to be compatible with Galaxy, so realistically we will get AssCreed 2 and that's it.
I would be fine with them selling "gimped" versions with multiplayer disabled, as long as the games have a meaningful single-player part, and it is made clear what the GOG version will be missing. GOG already has some games like that I think, like Brutal Legend.

I don't really pay for multiplayer games otherwise either, so...

But yeah, probably even that is not happening. Ubisoft wants people to use their client and social features, and that's it.

I would like to see them here. Uplay is a no-go for me and I would like to play other games from the series

hedwards: Do yourself a favor and skip the first one. It's probably one of the most tedious and repetitive games I've ever played. AC2 is where things get good.

tinyE: Meh, okay. I can't really afford it anyway and with my new system there are already a few hundred games in here I'll get to play before I even think about that one.

Hey Barry, sorry about the derail, and I mean that.
dont listen to that. I still think its the best in the series. it is the only one not over saturated with fetch quests. that and the story is awesome.

hedwards: I didn't realize I was that far behind. I haven't played any of them since Black Flag.

Probably the better way to think of these games is like Wolf3d, it's basically one game split across 6 different games. Same basic gameplay and the same basic storyline.

I'm not sure about other people, but I loved playing the games because of the story as much as anything else. The first one was lame, and I've heard bad things about Unity, but the ones I've played have mostly had compelling stories to move things along.
i only played 1 revelations and 3
and 3 was fine untill i got control of connor then it started to suck
I'd definitely be interested in the Chronicles series if they appeared on GOG. The others I'm indifferent towards.
Well, I have to say it was very enterprising to poke the higher-ups at Ubisoft.. hope it works!

Also would love to see Silent Hunter I and III here on gog.com, Silent Hunter II feels so abandoned (and the other two are also amazing!)

amrit9037: They should continue making sequels of Assassin's Creed and prequels of Splinter Cell and end both series with a crossover event.

May be we can get Assassin's Creed 2 on gog this time.
Take that back man. Just; please, take it back!

not a bad addition considering it's the best AssCreed game(or at least on par with Black Flag)
I'm not really a big fan of AC but if the series came on GOG I would buy them.
I don't think that they can bring on GOG anything that has UPlay incorporated deep inside.
Thanks for the effort Barry.

These games have been in my backlog for a while now.

I voted for all of them, good luck.

snowkatt: 14 games ~.~
and i thought activision milked call of duty
Actually, those are just the games that have come out on PC, and three of them haven't been released yet. There are also multiple mobile and hand held console games in the series, only one of which has ever been ported to PC (Liberation). So yeah, milked pretty raw, but apparently not dry yet.
