I'm trying to help a friend but I'm not very good with computers
There's crucial files missing so the computer doesn't boot by itself but hitting esc key makes it boot somehow
System restoring didn't work, it just wiped all the drives, videocard drivers can't update

It is the same for Win10, you need to first solve the Bootrec then everything should work.

You can try with sfc /scannow from an administrator prompt.
