Atlantico: Question in the title. Just remove the game from Galaxy, not actually uninstall the game.
JudasIscariot: What are trying to accomplish? Just not have it show up in Galaxy or are you trying to prevent the game from getting updated?
I'm trying to organize my games, and some games I don't want in Galaxy - because they are modded, I don't want them updated or DOSBox games or such, so I'll never use Galaxy to launch them.
So they're just cluttering up the installed games panel, effectively pushing away games I actually use Galaxy for. Turning off auto-update doesn't solve this cluttering.
Galaxy can import games without re-installing them, isn't there a way to detach games from Galaxy without uninstalling them? Galaxy is not and hasn't been necessary for the game, it's a launcher, organizer and updater (and shop) so it shouldn't be an issue detaching the game from Galaxy?
Right?
mike_cesara: It is, just head to your game folder, rename
goggame-#########.info file and restart Galaxy. To get the game back in Galaxy, rename the file to its previous state.
Autoupdates you can simply turn off under
more -> configure in Galaxy.
If I rename the goggame-####.info file, it changes from "installed" to "unknown game version" in Galaxy, but it is still there. As before.
