It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Find what you're looking for faster, easier, and with style.

As some of you have already noticed, today we launched an overhauled navigation system for GOG.com. The goal is simple: to make it faster, simpler, and better for you to explore our store and find what you're looking for.

Browsing our catalog has never been easier: mouse over the Store tab for a neat dropdown menu that contains ongoing sales, a detailed breakdown of our games categories, and several top-tier suggestions.
To bring our games closer to you, we've also made several improvements to our search engine, so locating the title you're after should be much more straightforward now. Those accessing our store through mobile will notice that these changes have dramatically improved their experience, as well.

But that's not all! If you want to reach Support, interact with the Community, or manage your Account, you'll find that the intuitive dropdown menus make for a much more fluid experience, saving you time that could be spent playing your favorite games!

Your account name and avatar are now clearly visible on top at all times, so you can tell at a glance if you're logged in and on which account. Last but not least, redeeming gift codes and switching between languages or currencies is now more readily available with no need to scroll to the bottom of the page.

Enjoy!
The new system seems mainly to highlight sales, but it's always good to make contacting customer support clear and easy.

One of the reasons I kinda hate Steam is how broken their search feature is. I can put in a specific game title and get pages of unrelated crap. Please don't feel the need to keep changing things just for "newness factor" until you break previously working features. It sounds like stupid advice, except for how many companies do exactly that..........

thomq: Sorry, I tried plain English first. Perhaps this will translate it from plain English to English?
It looks better in Klingon:
feature. tagha' lugh wej-chugh-ications "wej" qaS "vaj" qaS vay'.
Somehow they made their menu even less mobile friendly. Before I could navigate straight to the sections I wanted, like my wishlist or orders. Now I have to go to the account page first to get to any of those.
Reminds me when windows 7 aero was replaced with windows 8 metro. I don't like. :-(. Why black? No colour?
We'll see how this works out. Reserving judgement for a bit.

Raising the question: Why are you using GOG on mobile?
Has anyone else noticed that the search on the Nav Bar doesn't allow scrolling? If one types in a broad genre like "adventure," the results will go off screen.
Its much easier to find stuff, i like it a lot.
One thing could be improved: Instead of a search button i would prefer just a search textbox. That would be easier to hit, and if the cursor would be placed there automatically it would spare me the need to click on it.

I just need to have the option to hide already owned. Just that. How hard can that be?
*WOW* GOG! The new nav bar looks awesome, and the functionality is massively improved! I was quite shocked to log in just now and get the new bar. Awesome job, I love the new sale submenus in colour, that looks mega sharp and a huge improvement for me anyway! And I love the new dark scheme as well, and hope that you continue the trend towards a dark theme/skin either outright or as an option. That way I won't have to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56HSPQHSqEE

What's funny is that when I logged in and saw it, I simultaneously got a notification that a new version of Barefoot Essentials had been updated and my first thought was to go thank Barefoot Monkey for all the cool new changes LOL. Before doing so I decided to disable Barefoot and Adalia first and reload, and much to my surprise it wasn't the addons with the cool new bits. :)

Great job guys! Thanks for the improvements!

I'd change one thing: the menus in the top bar are opened and closed on mouse-over. I'd make them react to clicks instead.

There's a recent question on User Experience Stack Exchange (affiliated to the famous stackoverflow.com) about this: the title is "Should a dropdown list be closed when mouse leaves?", please Google it as I can't insert links (and speaking of UX: the message "You cannot post any links at this moment." isn't clear: what do I have to do to be allowed to?)
Although the most voted answer doesn't express a preference and just says to be consistent, reading the other answers it's clear that most people prefer menus that are opened and closed on click, rather than on mouse-over.

Maybe you could reconsider this choice. Thank you!

Yeah it's great for you, you use Galaxy! :P
Using chrome on android, i can't access any of the links in the Account menu. When I tap something like Wishlist or Games, the account menu slides back down (closes), but the site does not load the selected page.

Pretty much ruins the mobile experience for me.
