IMPORTANT: Please read before posting This topic has been provided to discuss the latest releases of our Downloader (for both Mac and Windows systems) and to submit bug reports. The stable releases (recommended for most users) can be found at this address:http://www.gog.com/downloader.

Latest version:

Mac OS X - 1.2 (build 512)
Windows - 3.6.0

Both Downloaders now have the option of sending Error Reports directly to us (this can be found in app under Settings).

The same not working login as the @wallenium -

1. 1.2 (331)
2. MacOS X 10.8.2
3. English
5. log is empty
6. Trying to login, but not working, always getting a "Wrong e-mail and / or password", checked the credentials by loging in/out of the site - worked there

Tried redownloading - no luck.
Can the downloader (windows version) have an 'always on top' option please? Maybe the Mac users would find it handy too?

TIA

I Have an Idea for the GOG Downloader:
Can You Improve the Download-Details with to example the percentage of the download, or how lang does the download take, or something like that?
I was having the same issue with the OSX downloader. It just took many attempted login attempts, but it did finally work. Could it be load issues or a sync problem?

As with previous posts, try hitting Enter and not clicking "Log in". This is a known issue and will be fixed in an upcoming update (in a few days).
If I remove a game from download list all files are erased from my local downloded folder. How can I remove a game from list without losing it ?
On older versions I could choose which game to download from list of games. I dont want to keep on downloading the game downloaded previously.

You must move all files to another directory and than, remove a game from the download list.

Try clicking on gogdownloader://f_a_18e_super_hornet/installer_win_en instead of gogdownloader://f_a_18e_super_hornet/win_installer, the second one is no longer a valid link. As Szulak stated, refresh your browser's cache, you're probably still getting the "old" website.

It seems that there were some API changes.
Did something change in "get_game_details" that prevents requesting game details without file id?

Here's a result without file id However requesting with any random string as file id works fine

DEBUG INFO (API::getResponseOAuth)
URL: https://api.gog.com/downloader2/game/beneath_a_steel_sky/randomstring
DEBUG INFO (API::getResponse)

"extras" :

[..]
Yes, exactly. As you could notice, you must use file id to get game details. It has a format:

https://api.gog.com/downloader2/game/unique_game_title/file_id

So, your url should looks like:

https://api.gog.com/downloader2/game/beneath_a_steel_sky/installer_win_en
