I want to THANK YOU for the new feathers in the beta (3.1). Being able to download my games remotely (eg: buy game at work and download it at home) going to build a new gaming desktop system and this will be the first program I download and install. Thanks again for all of GOG's hard work bringing these older games back to life and for the downloader.
i bought 3 games but what ever i do the download wont not work writing me "checksum error on chunk X#, please contact support"

Downloader used to work beautifully for me, now it doesn't work at all. I upgraded to the latest stable release and I simply get a file not found error when I try to download a game. Doesn't matter what game I try to download. Here's the info you want.

1. Downloader version 3.0.40.0
2. Windows 7 64 bit
3. English
4. Firefox 12

Just FYI, I tried through Chrome and it did start downloading one thing but I can't seem to download any of the bonus content stuff through the downloader. Not essential I guess but it would be nice.

For Firefox the simplest solution is to go to Firefox -> Options -> Options -> Applications. Locate "gogdownloader" and reset the setting to default.
Finally got around to installing GK2 which I downloaded a year ago - and the integrity check failed.

So now I'm trying the "stable release (recommended for most users)" and I notice that it's not telling me the estimated time left till completion. Is that something that will be in future versions?

I think it will be.

Cool, thanks!
I love GOG.com and all, but labeling 3.0 downloader as 'stable' has gotta be one of your worst decisions ever. so basically I tried downloading Witcher 2 EE twice and all of them failed because after merging what's left is 9gb-ish files instead of 15gb total, with some complete, some incomplete .bin files inside. In my first attempt, the downloader also failed to recognize 24gb left in my hdd and throws 'not enough space' at me. I had to restart my laptop to start the download. while my internet is not capped, it's not super fast either, so I wasted hours trying to download 30gb of nothing. I'm done using the downloader for now. how do I send you log files?

downloader 3.0.40.0
win 7 home premium 32-bit SP1
english
firefox 12.0

EDIT: it just dawned upon me after I posted this, 15+9=24. is that what I think it is? that I need twice the download size free? I mean, it's perfectly fine, but being able to start the download regardless, as well as deleting all the downloaded chunks in merging process no matter what, is nasty. serious problem
