If you'd looked at that thread more closely you would have seen I've posted in it lots. The purpose of this thread is that I will update the OP to reflect the game currently on sale.
First post updated.
Get the Geneforge Saga. There is SO MUCH GAMEPLAY in the one dollar you're required to pay for keys that it isn't even funny.

I wonder how many devs will be interested in IndieGameStand if they only get less than 2$ per game.

It's likely no different than in the Humble Bundles or any of the other Indie game bundle offers.

At the moment we see two type of games: Games that already were in bundles and more less known alpha releases. 2$ may sound bad in the first place, but in comparison to bundle which includes other games it's not bad at all.

The last Humble Indie Bundle had an average purchase price of $6.48. For a bundle of 10 games.
A puzzle for GENEFORGE!!!!!!!

And these things are also about gaining awareness and building reputation.

That's another case, but I guess that this doesn't matter when you get $100k in a two weeks sale (per game).

Anybody only paying $2 or less is probably an extra sale that they wouldn't have otherwise gotten. People who are seriously interested in buying the game would probably be wiling to shell out more, even if they don't have to.

But, that's my assumption.

yes, but last bundle sold 316282 units, last Indiestand sold what? about 4000?

so if you game was in hib = 6.48/10 * 316000= $204768
indiegame stand = 2*4000 = $8000

edit- yes i know much of the money also goes to charity and humble... still it is a big difference.

The official twitter account of IndieGameStand says: "I just realized that if you bundle today's game, you'll get 9 games for $10 - (yes that is a hint about our next game)"

The bundle includes the previous game Gnomoria (1), and the current Geneforge games (5), so the next game is some kind of a trilogy I guess. Any guesses?
