What the hell kind of flying saucer is that? :P
Because STEAM (cuts them better deals, is mainstream and secures DRM through the obligatory client).

Giving something out to the gaming community as a DRM-Free product, equals to and is generally considered something like "charity", from developers' and copyright holders' point of view; even in the regular event that the DRM-Free product costs somewhat more expensive than its corresponding version elsewhere. They think "DRM-Free=Fewer sales + more piracy". Wrong both at mathematics and common sense, all in one go. But even those who don't believe the above statement to hold any truth whatsoever, are still drawn in by steam's greater popularity and always sweeter deals/cuts/shares/offers/opportunities. Here we don't have selling of "items" like cards and thin air for real money nor we offer legal gambling to fleece suckers and make a fortune effortlessly. 20% of steam game owners use para-economy to raise sums enough for getting entire games without spending 1 cent (other than their share from digital market, selling all those gems, booster packs, cards and emoticons)...

It's Santa! It's for the Christmas giveaway I'm not actually taking part in, but changed my avatar for the season anyway. And I see after two days it actually changed :D
The best ones are the Red Faction games, which I think will get here eventually, it's just not a priority.

F.E.A.R. 3 was still more fun than anything Bethesda has ever done, I wouldn't mind playing through that one again. It was a cool FPS, although less horror than the previous ones.

Why other sequels are absent ? low priority, can't be bothered, legal reasons, Steam reasons ...

Roxolani: I just mention some examples:

F.E.A.R. series: F.E.A.R. 3
Fallout series: 3, New Vegas, 4
Red Faction series: Guerrilla, Armageddon
Sacred series: Sacred Citadel, Sacred 3

I don't see any reasons why publishers don't release those games on GOG. Technical issues? Legal issues? Is it TOO SOON to release DRM-free version? Or what?
sacred 3, i dont want to see that game anywhere....
Because they love the D.
And they want the D in every release.
Big publishers like Blizzard, EA, SE loves bigger D.
All AAA release had D in them.
But the D can't be pulled out of old classics because rights got transferred.
Only publishers who own those games can pull out D from them.

*NOTE* D could be DRM.

And they actually get smaller when you hover over them for the pop-up.
Yeah, in a lot of cases, it legitimtely doesn't make sense. Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory is the one that always sticks out in my mind. It's by far the best in the series, more than a decade old at this point, and the original SC is on here. Hell, Ubi already went through the trouble of stripping out Starforce for the Steam release years ago. Ubi should've given us that game instead of wasting everyone's time with shit like Rayman Raving Rabbids.
Could be many reasons. My favorite one is unfortunate piano accidents.

If you use Barefoot Essentials, you can click it and see the regular size.
Because dem publishers are evil and they hate you and your little insignificant monies. They don't make games for you. Games are not an experience to be shared. Go away.

Also they're

too niche
