I wanna buy a new game. But don't know which. And that's a PITA.
Help me out folks. I like FPS's, 3PS's, 2D platformers, sidescrollers, action, adventure, stealth, point n' click's.
Pretty much about anything goes. Price range are capped at $50.

Go go go!

Ghostbreed: The Painkiller game?
sure why not ?

there is a ps3 steampunk game called damnation
bit crap though
I'll be honest, everytime this question pops up, my first thought is "just go through your backlog". And this is probably the best suggestion I can give.
FPS: Ziggurat. A mage game with randomized levels!
More FPS: Outlaws. A Western game with great music. What's not to like?
Even more FPS: The [url=http://www.gog.com/game/metro_last_light_redux]Series. Help Artyom save the post-apocalyptic metro!

3PS: Rogue Trooper. A rare game, but very fun. You play as a blue super soldier!

2D: Shovel Knight. A great homage to the 8-bit era!
More 2D: Freedom Planet. Liked Shovel Knight? Now play the 16-bit homage to the Genesis/Mega Drive!
Damnation was met with generally negative reviews. The Xbox 360 version has a 38.55% rating on GameRankings,[6] and a 36 out of 100 rating on Metacritic.[9] The PC version has a 41 rating on Metacritic.[7] IGN reviewer Greg Miller gave Damnation a 2.5 saying that the graphics, voice acting, and gunplay is terrible: "avoid this game at all costs".[11] Dan Whitehead of Eurogamer rated the game a 3/10.[12] Andy Hartup wrote in Xbox World 360 that the game was "[o]ne of the worst shooters of this generation. The clue really is in the name..."[13] Junglist and Bajo, from the Australian gaming show Good Game, said that they enjoyed the environment and exploring but felt the A.I. was overpowered and unintelligent, each rating the game 5.5 out of 10.[10]

Lol, thanks for the tip snowkatt. -_-

You made those games sound good. I have them already, 1 hour playtime when combined.

Stealth Bastard or Mark of the Ninja...both are well-received stealth platformers.

hey it was a joke in regards to the thread title ;p
Escape Goat if you haven't tried them yet.
Buy Sacrifice . That's all you need .
Can't really say without knowing what your library looks like, but...

If you want August to turn into a blur, you could check out Terraria

or for something completely different and utterly phenomenal you could check out Kerbal Space Program

or perhaps you missed some bullfrog classics, like Populous the Beginning

or how about a solid platformer that holds its own with all the big boys in the genre : Rayman Origins

perhaps one of the best 2D sidescrollers ever? Abe's Oddyssee

or if want to go on a space journey with Luke/The Joker then there's Wing Commander IV

In the mood for something medieval, where you fight for a king, or become king yourself : Mount and Blade : Warband

Perhaps you've never played a Commandos game, in which case you should take immediate steps to correct said gaming transgression.
