Trade or fade through history.

The Guild 3, is now available as a game In Development, DRM-free on GOG.com.
Employ business savvy and strategy to build a trading dynasty in this 1400s society dominated by the rich, the powerful, and the superstitious. Balance the historical events and the economics involved in your dynasty's well-being or consider becoming a member of a secret society if you need some backing up.

According to THQ Nordic, until its release the game will still be getting fixed, optimized, and polished, based on the community's feedback.

Note: This game is currently in development. See the FAQ to learn more about games in development, and check out the forums to find more information and to stay in touch with the community.

I will wait for the finished game, but you guys are great in my book! Keep up the good work!
I think I have some of those games on my steam account but never launched them as they required an additional account.

Meh.
Quite wary of this one. Great concept for a franchise, but playing the finished versions of previous games was like being a Beta tester, so I can't imagine what playing an In Development version would be like. Definitely waiting for the user reviews.
Happy to see the Dev version have finally come here :)

ThomNG: Hi there,
hope you enjoy our support on GOG's Games in Development system with The Guild 3. Please note that this is an early version which is still in development and will face regular updates until we are finally arriving at the release version.

Please see the FAQs about Games in Development: https://support.gog.com/hc/de/sections/115000157529-FAQ-Games-in-development#en

Please also review the thread in the GOG forums about the status of this version: https://www.gog.com/forum/the_guild_3/the_guild_3_games_in_development_faq

We've setup a redmine bugtracker for bugreports. Redmine is free, easy to use and no registration is required: https://redmine.thqnordic.com/projects/the-guild-3-early-access
Additionally to that, we use the following Discord server during the Early Access, where you can give us feedback: https://discord.gg/nm3n9y

Please mention in these channels that you are playing the GOG version, so that the developers know.

Cheers & stay tuned
Your THQ Nordic Team

Are achievements planned down the road?

Given The Guild 2 didn't sort out many of it's problems I'd be wary of trusting them

I love it when people in game biz actually do something in a professional way. <3 THQ Nordic

And I loved the guild 1&2, I cling to my hopes despite the initial reviews for now. Don't do In Dev because it spoils the games for me.

But regarding all the bug complaints in g1&2: Weren't that totally different devs and ofc publisher? I don't see how you can compare the issues here.
By the way - seeing thq guys here - any hopes for venice release on gog? Would be only thing my collection lacks (and original dvd is not even recognised by my drive anymore) :)

The cynic in me would like to point out that it takes about 10 seconds (ok, maybe 20 seconds) to throw up a bug tracker. The question is if they actually pay attention to it and act on it. I know many professional companies who pay little to no attention to their bug reporting system.

No offense to THQ Nordic. I hope the do pay attention to their bug tracking system. I just rather see actions than lip service. I get enough of that from my local government.
