The violence of history.

RIOT - Civil Unrest is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com with a 10% discount until December 13, 3PM UTC.
The city is about to erupt. All it takes is a single act of aggression, and this kettle of boiling emotions could overflow at any moment. Take the side of the protesters or the police and experience the chaotic riots that shook major cities all over the world, either through a full campaign or single scenarios. Then get involved providing feedback and useful suggestions, to help the developers fine-tune the game during its In Development period.

Note: This game is currently in development. See the FAQ to learn more about games in development, and check out the forums to find more information and to stay in touch with the community.

Watch the trailer.

Vovchigus: Have been waiting for RIOT to release a lot but Let's plays are looking... weird at least. And not weird in the way Vangers were weird.

Didn't like the current state of the game. Guess we have to see what devs be doing with all feedback they will get.
I saw the game on steam, some users complained the game uses to much cpu, which might be caused by Unity engine, i have a dozen unity games and 2 perform good, 1 okay the rest is bad.

The fun part with all these unity created games is the rec. sys. which claims 2.5 ghz would be enough, since there is no mention of quad or double core i safely asumed it is a single core.

Anyway devs should always mention the word double core or quadcore cause if these are missing it basically says 2.5 ghz ( single)
Hmm. This looks like a more actively soul crushy Papers Please(which was only passively soul crushy).
Oh look a game about why i hate everybody.
Have we really arrived to this level of cynicism?
Well this looks at least more interesting to me than, say, Mother Russia Bleeds.
it looks intense, wish the trailer showed actual gameplay, will keep an eye on it
Nice! Yet another wish completed :D

cyboff: Nice! Yet another wish completed :D
In progress :P
not a fan of this by now generic art style
1px wide arms REEEEEEEEE
My first thought was "what kind of sociopaths want to play a game about riots?"
Then I remembered that I like games about war, theft, murders, etc... So it's quite arbitrary of me to draw the line at riots.

In conclusion, I hope it does well.

Grargar: Ah, the Greek Parliament. Didn't expect to see that in a game.
...and in such high fidelity, if i may add.
How about a game where the star of "Moonlighting" goes crazy and starts running amok.

We could call it "RIOT - Cybill Unrest"
Those graphics are genuinely horrible, lazy pixel vomit, concept makes my eyes roll too.
Zombie Night Terror. The Last Door games. A lot of really good games use this pixel art style.
