Breja: Unfortunately GOG continues to have the communication skills of a roadkill beaver.
Titanium: Maybe they are contractually obligated to play the silent game, for whatever odd reason.
Or maybe they just don't know how to spin it. "Good news everyone! We have some bad news..."
Such stealth moves may well be covered with the dirty fingerprints of lawyers/attorneys. I suppose the IP holder went into bankrupcy at some point, and the portfolio / assets got sold. Then one can imagine that the distribution contract got broken or resolved, with immediate effect, and with a command not to communicate on it or to disclose any détails. It's possible this means a new contract is being discussed, or that the asset is frozen and in the limbos...
But I agree that at the very least GOG should publish a notice indicating that the game is not available anymore.
