Yeah,game is surely good,but I'm so disappointed with lack of manual and BOX art.
Castles1 manual is only text,Castles2 manual is cheap image which only 200 width.
gog team,if you will win abondonware,
at least you must distribute full size authentic manual and BOX art with game.
To Scan those items is so difficult?
Additionally,I recommend to scan and attach write-ups of pc magazine at that time.

We do the best we can. We rarely get the original boxes of the games, so scanning etc is out of the question. Also scan quality tends to be poor, nothing beats original artwork. We'd like to receive high-quality, high-resolution artwork but we don't see as much as we'd like.
As Wishbone and Ois have said, we get these materials from the publishers (sometimes, we only get the game masters) and then we start looking for more materials eg. manual, artwork, editors ourselves.
As mostly people want to play games :) we focus on getting the best compatibility for the games and in addition we really try to produce the best/high quality additional materials we can find/produce.
For a lot of the games, we're still slowly finding additional materials and when we can we add those to the downloads of the games.
I'll ask the product team to look into the Castles pack some more :)
