My favorite character is Storm so if some of you could tell me the comics i should read about her i would be very grateful

Wow i wasn't expecting it to be a movie much less a series XD

When it comes to comic book series, I always recommend to just pick up the latest issue of the running series you are interested in. Thes books are not really "rocket science" and even if you might have some questions at the beginning (especially if you start reading in the middle of a storyline), everything will make sense after a few issues.

There are probably more than one running X-Men series at the moment, so you should look for the team with Storm, if you are interested in that character.

Besides that there is also a Storm solo series (but I think it ended in 2015). Might be interesting for you as well (think it only had 11 issues and you can probably get it in two paperbacks).

Swamp Thing is really good, but I think they might have just been being an ass.

I'm not much of an X-Men guy myself, in fact I'm more of a DC guy than Marvel in general. However, Marvel has a line called the Epic Collection, which collects story-arcs, or an author's run, or sometimes just a whole bunch. Those would probably be a good place to start. Chris Claremont is one of the most prolific X-Men writers, having written it from 1975-1991, so a lot of the "best X-Men stories" involve him, there are certainly lists of his best stories and they are likely to be collected.

If you're looking for other stuff that's similar, I will always recommend Ms. Marvel. I read the last half of an X-23 series that was quite good, I think that's collected in the Epic X-23 volume 2.

Edit: I missed your bit about Storm, Claremont had a lot of Storm stories. I think Lifedeath was a big one?

+1 for that. Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan) is one of the best superhero books I've read in years and certainly my favourite Marvel series at the moment.
What is the difference between Ms Marvel and Captain Marvel?

I know they just cast Brie Larson as Captain Marvel.....I think. :P I seriously can't keep all of these strait.

And who is the girl in all black with the gold lightening bolt on her chest?

OH BOY

So, originally there was Captain Marvel. He was an alien. There was Ms. Marvel, Carol Danvers. Captain Marvel died and there were five other characters who became Captain Marvel at various points. Other stuff happened with Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers) like the time she got pregnant by her future son to give birth to him and then they went and lived in a pocket dimension for a bit and everyone was cool with this until she came back and was like "yo, what the fuck guys I was obviously being mind controlled." Anyway, after Monica Rambeau, Genis-Vell, Phyla-Vell, Khn'nr, and Noh-Varr's turns as Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers became the new Captain Marvel and left the Ms. Marvel title vacant. Then Kamala Khan, who's a big Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) fangirl gets superpowers and ends up taking over the title.

Edit: Girl in the black leotard with a gold lightning bolt is Carol Danvers Ms. Marvel.

No problem for me. I tend to ignore superhero movies.
Well, that depends on what you're looking for. If you want to follow the current stories, I don't even know where to start myself as I stopped reading several years ago. But if you want classic stories, I can recommend some trades (not sure how difficult it would be to find these nowadays).

The Marvel Masterworks books are good fun, to see how everything started. The X-Men series begin with the first Stan Lee and Jack Kirby stories with the first team (Iceman, Beast before turning a blue furry guy, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Angel and Charles Xavier). Here you will see first appearance of Magneto, the Juggernaut, the Blob, and several other classic villains.

Things get better once you get to the Marvel Masterworks Uncanny X-Men series (you could also start here), this is where Wolverine, Storm, Nightcrawler and Colossus (among others) are introduced... though Wolverine had a previous appearance in the Hulk comics. These are the comics where you'll find classic stories like the Phoenix and Dark phoenix saga and Days of Future past, with Chris Claremont writing, some of the best X-Men stuff ever written.

For stories from more recent decades, I can recommend you the New X-Men series by Grant Morrison, that's where things started to get modernized, things were introduced that changed the X-Men for years, like Ema Frost and Cyclops becoming a couple, Beast mutating further into a more feline creature, the destruction of Genosha, introduction of Fantomex, etc.

The Morrison series can be followed by the Astonishing X-Men by no other than Joss Whedon (director of the Avengers movie). Really good stuff.

After that I kind of lost track of the X-Men comics, so I can't recommend more recent stuff. But I hope this is of any help. :)
