MorningStar33: Main difference is that you play with 3 different characters, each with different skills. For most of the game you can freely switch between them as you like.
Sadly their only notable differences are the special abilities, the different parameters make barely a difference and can be adjusted anyway. And the only ability I used often was Franklin's (slomo and increased grip while driving vehicles, for anyone wondering). Trevor's and Michael's were almost useless since the combat is pretty darn easy even without them. Truth is that I forgot using theirs most of the time because I never felt like I need them.
You know with all the additions to the GTA Series. Gta Vice City is still my favorite. I think it had the best soundtrack out of all the GTA Games and i loved the Miami Vice vibe it had.

I would also add that it had the best voice acting cast Rockstar has ever assembled.

By the way. Why did it take so long to release the PC Version. Im mean the Ps3 version was released in 2013.

The GTA online portion of the game which was launched later for PS3 & Xbox 360 was an absolute disaster at first and only became stable when they released GTA 5 on PS4 and Xbox One. Apart from the time and resources it takes to properly optimize a game for PC, they also want to make sure that the online component works properly on release day. But I am willing to bet that there will still be a lot of issues in the first few weeks.

They shat their panties over thinking they were so amazing that the game would be instant pirate bait.

Which it isn't. Pirates are in smaller numbers than the companies want to have people believe. They actually have proof of this and that people DO buy product more than pirate. But they don't care to keep up the facade.

I second that. We are few in numbers. And IF the stuff we touch is GOOD, we also BUY it, AFTER we try it pirated. So, not only people buy more than pirate, but even buy after they pirate. Anything else is lame excuses for self-ineptitude to create a product good enough, to compel people spend money on it. And for more DRM measures.

Well, I typically will read or watch something for free(not necessarily pirate) and will buy it afterwards. I wouldn't buy a car without trying it first, so the same logic applies to many other things....except food lol

Got it gifted (by a real life friend who played it on Xbone) and... well, yes, I think I'm hyped. Haven't read much about the game, except that it left the path that GTA IV took (too sereious) and that it is huge. I've avoided spoilers so far, so I'm pretty curious what all the hype is about^^

Humor, Variety in missions to the point that I find them whackier then Saints Row 3 and 4 (Not that there is dildo bats or superpowers, but the fact that the missions has some semblence of reality that I am amazed that these criminals got away with it, its like how I find it unbelieveable that CJ from San Andreas manages to sneak into Area 51 and got away with it without the authorities bursting down his door)

But anyway this game is alot of ways is San Andreas 2.0. Minus the chaging body type like building muscles and getting fat. But alot of clothes and hair style choices are back, many designs for cars. The Cheetah is the best car in the game.

Gunplay feels a bit more tighter then GTA 4 but I thought GTA 4 had the better gunplay. It just felt more raw, shooting a bad guy in GTA 4 you felt them get hit. The react. Not as deep in GTA 5.
