And I'll tell you why ...

In the heart of every gamer's soul, there's a flame that still burns, a candle of hope, THAT ONE DAY,
A game will come along, so enticing, so alluring, so intriguing, that one's heart's candle will ignite into a raging
fire of passionate lust ... LOVE ... DESIRE ... That compels them to reach into the deepest depths of their humble
and meagre resources and beg ... Yes BEG ...... In no uncertain terms (Not sure what it means, but I've always
wanted to say it) ... Because I want it so ... For reasons purely selfish ... and even if you don't make much of a
profit ... for prosperity ... for one gamer's love and adulation, from now until even time is a distant memory ...

And just because ...

I'm pleading, at your feet ......

Tal62: conquests of the longbow
Christy Marx made the game, and it is available (free) in some form on her website:

That said, it's a worthy candidate for GOG treatment.
I'm still waiting to wake up with a green gem in my pocket :(
Don't know what it is about and never played or heard about that game. I still voted for it on the wishlist because of your post.

Consider that as your victory :)

IMO a bad Robin Hood game is still a great game, which is odd considering I despise pretty much every Robin Hood movie ever made, not counting John Cleese's turn as him in "Time Bandits".

Awww....Men in Tights was pretty ok, even though (despite the Princess Bride) there's never been a role by Cary Elwes where I didn't want to punch him in the face. And the Disney cartoon!
And the Robin of Sherwood tv series (while not a movie) was pretty great, although today some might consider it a bit too 80s.

Conquest of Longbow was not a bad Robin Hood game (or a bad game), though!

As soon as I posted that I realized it might come off like I was calling it a bad game. :P

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!! :D

I only meant that if it was bad, which it is not, it would still be really good because of it's subject. :D

Okay, everyone good and confused now? :P
