Elmofongo: I am almost finishing the Hobbit book and I like it alot and even watching the movie did not damn my opinion of either book or movie.

But the Lord of the Rings books are way different from the movies so I just wish to ask one question and question is did the LOTR books fleshes out and offers more back story than the films?

For one did the books explain more about Sauron? Because in the films he seems more one-dimentional like "oohh here is a bad guy, that we never know why he is a bad guy and why is he doing this, what drove him, etc."

Don't spoil anything just tell me at least the books have more backstory?
Nastasha and Piere get married eventually, I think - its been s'long since I read it.

EDIT: Oh ... no wait! Wrong massively long and tedious novel that everyone MUST read ... :-)

Elmofongo: http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/fallout-equestria

This became a sub culture within bronies.

And the sad thing is they will never appreciate the actual games. And what is even worse is that they parodied Fallout 3.

They will never appreciate fallout 1 and 2's story lines :(

Jonesy89: Um. Assuming that people who parody only one entry in a series have no familiarity or love for the rest of that series is unwarranted as all hell. For example, I liked Fallouts 1 and 2, but that doesn't make the idea of this fanfic any less interesting to me.

EDIT: Just realized that I necro posted after I hit 'post'. Well, shit.
Don't worry man I will unnecro for you ;)

But yeah I especially am not gonna bother reading something that has even more pages than Lord of the Rings.
