Yes, yes! You SHOULD! Not only it has aged perfectly well, it is still LIVE and with quite a few players and games going round! It's not even close to the end of its (online) life!

Plus, the Battle net version (redeemed my key in battle net account) is DRM-FREE!!! You don't need disc for playing and no need for that older patch and manually copying to C:\ the mpq files anymore!

Today or tomorrow i am finishing normal and start farming the Nightmare Countess for runes! Am planning to create certain runewods to make my solo easier! Countess and Arcane Sanctuary are GOOD for rune farming! I got a bunch already!

Immortal game, god damn it. Imagine that after 15 whole years, it is still being sold retail in shops, even in here... I really, really, wonder, if the garb-, sorry, the stuff called 3, will have the same fate, let alone at least half the longevity.

I wouldn't think so. First the servers have to be running (unless it's the console ones), and second, half the fun of D2 was hacking and modding it. Adding twists and making Diablo spawn in the first area and shooting fire everywhere which you could fight and beat and get sent to the end of the game right away if you wanted.

I tried several mods, and honestly Zy-El seems to best them all, which is why i keep recommending it. But others that are interesting are still fun, adding spider silk to add +damage to demons, and hammers to add +2 min/max damage, and a revamped structure of the levels for good ol fun.

Or adding 10,000 new keywords for weapons so you could in theory have 'the slippery wanking shortsword of masculine qualities' or something... Heh.. reminds me with one of the updates (1.07?) where they added crystal and ethereal and more keywords, and i ended up getting a crystal ethereal sword with self repair on it...

KiNgBrAdLeY7: I have the BEST memories of those. Together with Red Alert 2 and expansion, those were my most beloved titles and most played up to date, ever... Diablo 3, i didn't even got close to the stuff. Let alone play it.
This 100%!!

I even loaded it onto a memory stick so my time at work could be even more productive.

Diablo 3 brings me some pleasure on a rainy day, but not nearly as much as D2 and LOD.
I have years in D2... and finally after the latest patch D3 is living up to its namesake... its so amazing now, and there is still one more exspansion (class) to drop. Free rifts? are you shitting me <3
