Hey everyone,

I recently made a Hymn of sorts based off of Tales of T.P.P - Praise the Helix.
You can find the original song here. http://markroebbelen.bandcamp.com/track/praise-the-helix

Enjoy

Praise Thee Oh Blessed GOG
Who Doth Guide Me Past DRM
And Giveth A Witcher To Guide Us
With No DRM and A Wild Hunt

GOG We Consult Thee
Set Straight Our DRM Free Path

Valve May Say It's Not The Time For That
But You Keep Us From Steam’s Wrath

GOG Thou My Riches
I Will Toss My Cash at Thee

When Those Who Use Steam Try My Path
Thou Raise Thy Saints Of CD

Rest Blessed Fallout
Rest Nordic Catalog
You Were Not Released In Vain
Forever GOG Keep Them

As We Press Forever Forwards
And Burn Every DVD
GOG Ever Will Be My Strength
As I Buy DRM Free
First thing you reminded me off were those endless songs upon songs in Rivendell in Lord of the Rings :P I Always felt like a bit of an idiot lying in bed reading those songs and concocting some awfully amateurish rhythm to go along with them. It kind of ruined the fantasy for me. In my mind there would be a bunch of bored elves singing off key and clearly wanting to be somewhere else. In fact, it reminds me of having to sit through church as a kid come to think of it. The temptation was always great to just simply skip over them.
The first song in the Hobbit about Smaug taking over the lonely mountain was awesome though, and they really nailed it in the first Hobbit film.
