muddysneakers: Is it possible that during the DRM free sale there could be other games on sale that are not part of that sale? GOG does it all the time with the weekly, midweek and weekend sales and even more directly when they have random one off games on sale. There's even a thread about it.
There are indeed more discounted DRM-Free games than are listed in the sale. See the following link to see them all, including many DRM-Free games that aren't discounted.

wolfsite: Keep forgetting Humble has some DRM free content, don't think I'll get anything though as DRM free is clearly and afterthought for them these days.
Not sure you can call over 1400 DRM-Free games an afterthought.

Every-time I go to Humble all I see are Steam logos, Epic Game Store Logos, Origin Logos, can't even remember the last time they had a game bundle that was DRM-Free, last one I saw only had 1 or 2 games DRM free but you had to get 8 games to get them. Plus I just did a search and found a number of reddit posts and forum complaints about games losing access to a DRM-free copy.

https://www.reddit.com/r/humblebundles/comments/nbg1ws/a_decline_in_drmfree_offerings_at_humble_bundle/

for one example

and on top of that the restrictions they have been trying to place on bundle sales to limit the amount that goes to charity.... well.

I'm not interested in the bundles, stopped looking at them ages ago, because as you say, they are virtually always a mix of DRM and DRM-Free. I'm only interested in DRM-Free, and they have quite a large collection of those available singularly, often at a comparable price with GOG for those they have in common, but sometimes cheaper as well.

They also have some DRM-Free games that GOG don't have. Don't know if they still have it available, but I bought Carnivores there last year for around $11 AUD.

A quick reminder that Humble Bundle provides a "DRM-free only" filter in their store: https://www.humblebundle.com/store/search?drm=download

Something that is still lacking from GOG store…
A lot of the games that Humble does claim as DRM free often comes up as false when placed under scrutiny, there are several games whose descriptions countermand the idea; especially the idea of being provided with a Steam key.
Kingsway is provided via Steam for Windows and is also provided DRM-Free for Windows. A free Steam account is required.

Darvond:
This is very bad wording on their part, meaning that a Steam account is required for redeeming the Steam key. The DRM free installers are available as direct download and .torrent from Humble-provided servers.

I’ve been using Humble Bundle to buy a lot of games with this mention, and never owned any kind of Steam account ;)

Because right now we have no way to filter between the 3 DRM schemes used on GOG:
- no DRM at all
- Galaxy or another third-party required for some game features
- Galaxy or another third-party required for all game features

In that case they REALLY ought to correct that, because when I see a shteam logo and "shteam account required", I quite naturally assume that a shteam account is indeed required.

Bought some games and bundles there years and years ago, when humble bundle didn't suck arse yet, but haven't logged in for years. Some of the games didn't really work all that well either, like Limbo that kept crashing. Maybe the title should have given it away =)
Yeah, I noticed the sale. There are som titles you can’t get elsewhere, tinmangames games for instance. I have the few bits I want from there now though. Do bear in mind, even if the product is drm free, it may not be up to date or get dlc. Often it’s just and old forgotten installer.

those games are old enough where they dont get updates or dlc anymore so i dont think it will be an issue.

Good news for you then! They've announced that they're capping the charity slider in their bundles. It won't be possible to give the majority to charity any more, so it would seem that IGN and you feel the same way.

Then they should reword the poor wording accordingly.

What games? I mentioned tinmangames as it was something I couldn’t find elsewhere. You will likely find a lot of the drm free games on humble don’t get updates or dlc. The bioshock sold there is the old version for instance. Just general information for those thinking of buying there be it new or old games.

I haven't used Humble Bundle in many years, but it's safe to say my reasons are probably quite different from yours.
