The client tries to install it on the wrong drive and can't find the options to change install path.
I must be blind because even 20 year old games had these to change where to install it.

There is a small cog/gear icon on the bottom-left corner of the client. Click it and you will be able to change the install/download paths.

That might be little confusing, but Galaxy has default Download/Install/Extras path no matter where the Client itself is Installed.

So even if your Galaxy Client is installed on D:/ Default Install directory will still be on C:/GoG Games
