Oh man, I remember Dark Legions being super cool when I was little and watching my dad and uncle play it. On its outer layer it's a little like Battle Chess, and when pieces meet each other it turns into a top down action game. You could also give some of your characters magic items and shit. I wouldn't mind playing it again, if GOG could get it, but it was made by Silicon Knights and SSI, and I think there's some legal issues with Silicon Knights since we don't have Blood Omen here. I'm not sure what the deal with SSI is.
