I submitted a ticket 5 days ago and received nothing from support. Is this normal? I did receive the auto-response email saying that GOG has received my ticket, but then nothing more. I liked GOG and haven't had to submit a ticket before, but 5 days without even a word really makes me feel unsatisfied. I know there's famous Steam support takes up to a month to copy & past a random paragraph of text, and I don't think there could be any other support worse than that on earth, but this smells like some kind of the second worst.

I don't think typing a few words saying that you need to delay a response if you really need more time to answer my ticket is so hard or costs you too much. I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, but I can't seem to find a better place to ask when the ticket system does not work for me. Sorry if this is the wrong place. I just would like to know if this a normal issue with GOG support.

Thanks.
I'm not sure what's the average wait time but the one time I contacted them for support on a game's technical issues I took about 5 days, so just be a little patient... It's not great but it's still better than Steam's 2 months average wait time.

Depends on the issue, and how busy they are, and partially random chance. Payment trouble and the like usually get prioritised and may be solved within a few hours if you're lucky, if it's something less critical, it may take a while.

Also, has it been 5 working days or 5 days? Do remember that only the most critical of posts are filled on weekends, so depending on the issue you gave it might only have been 3 days for it to get the chance to be handled because pretty much only critical server issues and payment issues get handled Saturday and Sunday.

Also don't forget they usually don't work on tickets over the weekend so technically you only sent your ticket in 3 days ago.

Note that GOG does not reply to tickets over the weekend, so your five days are actually three.

That said, I have had more than one pending ticket take more than a month to reply or never receive any reply.

It may take longer if they are especially busy.

But don't forget until just recently the site was getting hit hard by korean spam, so once they saw how bad it was i think they dropped what they were doing and worked on it for 2 days...
When was Mount & Blade for free and released on gog? A couple days after that I had a request and got an answer on 5th January .... O___o

November 12.
Maybe if you asked Q in forum you would get an answer without having to wait on Gog support...

You could just ask directly here on the forums, if it's not an issue for you.

As for your question, I never contacted support that required much answering back. Just be a little more patient, Weekend just ended and they will reply eventually.
Not that long, they're fairly succinct I think.
