One question (I apologize if it was already answered, I lack the time to read through all 24 pages) - today, when I was redeeming Realms of Arkania 3, I noticed that the code had an expiration date (it was valid for 1 year).

From what I understand, there are two categories of codes, the gift codes with unlockable content that was paid-for by GoG users, and the bonus codes with unlockable content that is freely given by GoG itself.

What I want to know is, do gift codes also have limited validity? I don't see that this would be clearly stated anywhere?

Thank you very much for your time!

My understanding: bonus codes are freebies with expiration as per terms of the promotion giving them. Gift codes are purchased games, without expiration due to monetary exchange.

So far, all the "gift codes" I've been gifted were marked as "valid indefinitely", every one of them (instead of the limited time period of the "bonus codes"). So I'm pretty sure it's the usual validity for those "gift codes".

Not exactly a new giveaway but tomorrow I'll be giving away a couple of digital comics for the first time.
If it's popular enough I may do more comics in the future.
