masterotaku: Now all games here are almost "regionally priced" for europeans. It sucks because the money in our bank accounts didn't increase, nor the salaries (for people with a job).
First time I was screwed recently: the Clannad kickstarter in January. My pledge was about 20€ more expensive than I thought it would be.
It's not only your neck of the woods buddy. First time I was screwed recently: the Clannad kickstarter in January. My pledge was about 20€ more expensive than I thought it would be.
The Canadian dollar has depreciated considerably compared to the American dollar. That 35 USD monthly vps bill is now 45 CD. Same story for GOG purchases.
It probably makes for more competitive exports, but it's not so great for purchasing.
For for the most part, that's our story. The best we've gotten was parity with the American dollar at one point, but otherwise, the American dollar always had higher value (by a significant margin atm) and yet, our wages are about the same in our respective currencies.
The world never was a fair place :).
