This is very annoying for me - going through a sale and having to view games that I already have.

Is there a way to filter out games that are already in my library and only show games that I do not own?

You can't. It's "new design".

Actually, one never could, at least not since I joined and onwards.

So it's not "new design", it's the same old design.

In the old design all owned games were below others so were clearly visible.

Only on promo pages -- which, as far as I know, still work like that (for now...). I think StrEagle is talking about the full catalogue search page (especially since I don't think there are any currently active promos that have a dedicated promo page, since GOG just decided to temporarily label the 'discounted' filter as the Halloween sale tab).

Yes, I know. And the only sale on right now on GOG is the Halloween sale...which doesn't have one of those promo pages you were referring to, where already-owned games are separated.

That's why I said it's not possible under new design. :)

Except that they've had some normal promos (i.e. weekly, weekend) in the last week or two that used the "good old" promo pages.
I'm sure they'll see fit to redesign those soon enough, too -- or maybe this sale is an indication of how they plan to handle smaller promos going forward. But they are clearly still able to use the old-style promo pages if they want to since the redesign; they just didn't this time.

A bit late, but as you can see with the latest sale (https://www.gog.com/promo/20181105_polish_week), there is no new and old design; the Halloween Sale (https://www.gog.com/games?page=1&sort=popularity&tab=on_sale) just didn't have a dedicated page, and filtering owned games was never possible when browsing the catalogue (with whatever other filters applied).

1) I know that such filtering was not completely possible, but owned items are nicely grouped together at the bottom.

2) There is always "a chance" that they read opinions about Halloween sale and decided to go back to old design. ;)
