My account was hacked and some douchebucket has made 75 bucks worth of purchases in the last hour under my account. I tried to find a way to remove my credit card information to prevent it from happening in the future, but apparently GoG thinks they own your credit card information and you can't remove a payment method once it has been entered, so I just want to remove my account altogether, as I will certainly not be using this "service" again.

GOG doesn't store your credit card information.
Your credit card info isn't stored by GOG, so it's impossible for someone to make purchases with your money (even if your account got hacked).
ok, so for the sake of argument, why would someone hack my account (which they did as I certainly didn't make these purchases) if they can't use my payment information? I am still looking at my banking information because i got this account on a whim for one game and i don't remember which account I used.

Don't drink and have your credit card on hand.

Gifting on GOG with a credit/debit card is only possible for accounts 2 months and older. Those who hacked your account most likely wanted to use it to purchase gifts to sell on the grey/black market.

thank you. ok. I don't want my account to be used for ambiguously illegal activities, so is there a way to delete/deactivate my account? I have yet to find it

So... since GOG doesn't store your CC information...

Purge your browser, and possibly OS. You've got some malware going.

There is a way, but you can't do it on your own and must contact support to do so. While I would recommend that you just change your password (and perhaps the one of your e-mail as well) to something stronger, if you feel like you want to delete your account, you should go here: http://www.gog.com/support/contact/general_website_questions , select "account cancellationm" as the problem type and explain your wish, as well as your reason for wanting to delete your account.

You have to contact support to delete the account. Or you could inform support about what happened and they will help you to get your account back.

Your account can be "session hijacked". Contact support (ASAP!) for this. But the root of your problems is on your computer.

You need to go to GOG support and ask to have your account removed. Note that once you do this, all of your games you have purchased will be gone, forever.
If you makes you feel any better, that was $75 of games that I really wanted and totally intend to play! :D
