Every time I try to practice I get the Monster deck against me. I haven't won a single practice game against it. Yes, I'm a noob. I loved Gwent in the Witcher 3 but this is just baffling in comparison. There are no tooltips about deck building or anything once you have finished the tutorial.

Very different. Gwent in the Witcher 3 is just a simple mini game with very limited decks compared to this. I am going to watch some YouTube videos and hope that this Gwent isn't pay to win.

CCG's are always pay to win at some point, unless you're only playing with friends and you all have roughly equal decks. That's just the nature of the beast, has been since long before they went digital.
