I guess this could mean no dlc for the original huh? Interesting.

BlackMageJ: Is Hornet a spider? I haven't finished the first HK, but I kind of assumed that she was, you know... a hornet.

Is this a spoiler?
Have you reached Herrah the Beast?
Good news everyone.

Perhaps more explicit with Herrah, but... you did notice she was using silk with her spear during the boss fights, right?

You learn about her mom later on in the game. But in both her boss fights in the first game and during her moves in the trailer you can tell she uses silk threads (hence the name of the sequel) as part of her fighting style. She also doesn't have any wings. So yeah, Hornet's a spider.

Aside from the free expansions they included, yeah.

In the second video linked by the OP, they basically say "We don't know how to do DLC, so it's easier for us to make a new game". Personally, I think free DLC is the best kind of DLC, but... eh, if we get another 50+ hour adventure, why not?
Yes please.
Nice. I'd take more HK, especially if they're fleshing out Hornet more.
Is this game going to have a lot of bugs like the original?

Anyway, looking forward to the soundtrack, and perhaps getting the game as an extra. (Assuming the pricing isn't ridiculous; if the game by itself (no soundtrack) is more than $15, I'll probably wait.)
Good news and seems to look good.
