If you are very much into LucasArts' Adventures (like me :) you might be interested in the great work of a guy who recreated at amazingly high resolution all the original box covers of the most beautiful adventures form the good old Lucasarts.
I can't wait to print a couple of those and stick them all around my office :-P
For those interested, the link is below. Among the others, there are the poster version of the boxarts from Monkey Island 1 & 2, Day of the Tentacle, the Dig and so on.
Enjoy!

The link is broken. You need to use the url function in the post editor. Like this:

[EDIT] O...kay. The forum really doesn't like this url. I'll leave it for an admin to see.
The guy has the same thread running on the ScummVM forums, by the way.

Hehe. Well, do I feel a bit of an idiot right now? :-D Still, my point stands. You stand a better chance of the forum not messing up your url if you use the function for it. Just not with this particular url :-/

It's true, you're right, I just thought it was funny. Also, they need to add a preview post function.

Hmm, apparently the forum doesn't mess it up if you don't actually put the address into the first tag. Interesting. And you're welcome :-)

True. That, at least, would eliminate these embarassing little moments ;-)

I envy you. all my games are gone. my sister gave it away when i came to Australia :( We will see when she needs a kidney or bone marrow.
Where one should go to make a poster? I want Indy and atlantis poster on my wall.

This is the problem I face, I can't think of a single place where I could print posters that big in colour without it costing me a fortune.
Its not exclusive to posters but if you guys are interested in high res game walls, art and posters you should check out this thread on GAF:

Resurrecting this ol' thread because I printed out some of these wonderful posters. ;) The resolution of the posters is excellent for printing out on quality 50x70 cm paper and they look amazing on my living room wall.

I had that original Maniac Mansion poster when I was a kid. I bought the game right when it came out and there was a order form for it in the manual. I can't totally tell from the picture but it looks IDENTICAL to the original I had. Nice work.

Haven't seen an original, but the artwork is supposed to be the original one, so it should at least be a faithful copy. I kinda wish I had an original, though. What happened to yours?

BTW I also found these Space Quest posters that I'm gonna be printing out next:

They look fantastic!
