Hey everyone,

So I recently came across a game called StarMade and I am really enjoying it. They have a full featured demo version that you can try.

So what is it?

"StarMade is a voxel-based 3D sandbox space shooter. Play in your own universe or on a multiplayer server to create, discover, destroy, customize, and design your own worlds."

But to me it feels like Minecraft crossed with EVE online. That said you can play offline if you really want to.

What platforms does it run on?

Windows, MacOSX, and Linux

Is it moddable?

Yes, You can build your own spaceships, SpaceStations, etc. and soon the Mod API will be released.

Where can I try / buy it?

I'll vote for it if for no other reason than I love your login.

Brace for Impact!
You are aware that voting has absolutely no influence on whether it gets added to GOG or not, right? The wishlist is just there for users to not spam the forums with "put this game on". Instead they spam that section that GOG employees can ignore. They probably had intentions of using it to get what the community wanted but after a few failures they pretty much abandoned it.

If you really wanted to help them get on you'd find a way to get them and GOG dialoguing. It could have 3 votes and a good dialogue getting it on, or 10,000 votes and a bad dialogue rejecting it. The ones in charge of deciding whether something is GOG-worthy or not are pretty much weirdos so hope for the best and expect the worst.

Occasional crying is good. It clears out the ducts. Sweating is also good for you. Too much of either is bad though. ^^
Not very subtle.
Looks cool, voted :)
Looks really cool! 'Voted! Does the game have any listed system requirements? Does it support DirectX 9.0C?

It is made with OpenGL 2.1 in mind. That said it is a gem of a game :)

That said specs below.

From Steam -

MINIMUM:
OS: Windows XP
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Graphics: OpenGL 2.1 Capable Graphics Card
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Hard Drive: 2 GB available space
Additional Notes: The game is made with speed and scalability in mind, so it runs on older machines. Java is required.

RECOMMENDED:
OS: Windows 7
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia Geforce, ATI
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Hard Drive: 2 GB available space
Additional Notes: Java is required.

TL;DR - Anything above a toaster can run this :)

Well to be fair I am a die hard fan of this game :)

I am not involved with the development of the game if that is what you are implying. :)
