SLP2000: Also, I wondered about the rights to I have no mouth and I must scream. It couldn't be done without Harlan Ellison, but I don't know if anyone else has rights to it.
I actually sent an email to his webmaster two days ago and I'm waiting on a response. To whom it may concern,
Currently the only way to purchase the "I Have No Mouth, And I Must Scream" computer game for a reasonable price is by printing out an order form from your website and sending a check or money order. It's a fantastic game with big ideas that deserves to be more widely available. Have you ever considered digitally distributing it and cutting out the physical costs? While most digital distribution platforms don't bother with older games, GOG.com (a.k.a. Good Old Games) specializes in selling classic games and they do all the leg work to update them to run on the latest versions of Windows. They're basically the Criterion Collection of computer games. If you were to partner with them, you'd only need to send them the game and any bonus materials you might want to include and they do the rest. They treat each game they release with care and they promote them as if they were new releases. "I Have No Mouth, And I Must Scream" is a much requested title on GOG and releasing it there would please many fans. Think about it.

Thank you for your time.

SLP2000: I understand that we may never see Dune or Blade Runner (if GOG can't secure rights to those games from rightholders), but other games should already be here.
Alcon Entertainment (https://twitter.com/alconent) recently acquired the rights to the Blade Runner franchise and were looking to film a sequel with Ridley Scott returning to direct. It would be the perfect time to re-release the game to reacquaint people with that world. Whatever obstacles were preventing the game's re-release in the past may no longer be relevant. Vote for the games on the wishlist:
Blade Runner
I Have No Mouth, And I Must Scream
