GOG.com: This is Halloween, this is Halloween
Pumpkins scream in the dead of night
- Is this Halloween? Over.
Missed opportunity.

What's holding up the release of Dead Island? Traces of that were already found through GOG leaks.
If you haven't purchased Horizon: Zero Dawn best to get on that, especially if you want to see other Sony games here like Days Gone, God of War and Spiderman.

It's weird Days gone is not on GOG. You think GOG would be a good place for it. Since it's DRM free on Epic store.

Edit: I want to buy HZD but that 100gig download is scaring me. haha

I sent this as a PM to Clownski, but I'll also add to this thread:

Today is a perfect example of why the GOG.com front page news area needs considerable improvement. Today alone has generated more news posts than the "scroller" can handle. It should scroll VERTICALLY (not horizontally) and show X days worth of news posts, not Y quantity of them. Either/or/both with a large enough number. Please pass it on. I'm here searching the forums to try to find others I missed. And often have to rely on the fan-curated "GOG & Staff posts" thread that's pinned because of the way it's done.

And this was sent before there were two more news posts for today!

chandra: Hey everyone! Just wanted to let you know that we're experiencing problems with the main Hallowen Sale page but our Team is already on it and everything should be back to normal soon - will let you know once it does!
The issue has now been fixed, you're all free to get spooky again.

mqstout: Snip.
Noted, will discuss the case with the rest of the team.

Seconded. That is also something that really need improvement.

It's in € now, so it seems to work, but it makes the cpu fan spin up, so something is not right.

It's a really good game if you like strong narrative, exploration, or open world games at all. Or just like kick-ass combat. It can get pretty crap loading times if you don't have any SSDs though. It doesn't need that high of a spec to play on low settings. But it has a ton of voiceover and textures-in-case-you-do-have-high-end-card.

You might also want to discuss the related "New" tab, which shows only the ten newest additions to the catalogue (since the "Show more" button does nothing of the kind) and has also overflowed today, making it that much harder to find out which games have been newly added today.

Agreed. In fact I don't know why the news caroussel is limited at all. So often have I ended up using the *cough* search function in the forum with mostly bad results because the search function is mediocre to express it nicely.

Some good deals here, and it's great to see Corpse Factory launching on GOG... though I do wish that Signalis got released, too. Maybe in the next couple of days.

Catventurer: I'm a bit disappointed that Ravenloft isn't on sale as if vampires are not Halloween enough. Otherwise this is a nice sale.
avatar
kai2: Yeah, I've been waiting for all of those D&D series collections. ;)
I got the three Forgotten Realms collections when they went on sale, but the Dungeons & Dragons collections all seem to be allergic to being on sale.

This would be irrelevant if they brought back the "by date added" sort order in the main search page. Why they took it away in the first place, I can't even guess.
