Also, if you love dark aesthetics and Halloween themes as much as we do, make sure to check out our latest blog entry about the most beautiful and unique art styles in scary games. You can find it right HERE.

There’s not much left to say other than we wish you an incredible Halloween and have fun with all the discounted titles!

If you're looking for an older horror game that has a lot of classic tropes...

... I'd suggest...

... Curse: The Eye of Isis.

It's on sale for $.29 USD!

https://www.gog.com/en/game/curse_the_eye_of_isis
And there I was, thinking that the main GOG page was the most bloated.

When I was finally able to load the Halloween Sale page, it pretended to be fully loaded, but clicking a scrolling arrow took me to a game instead, and then I had to reload the whole damn sale page again.

Then to rub salt in the wound, I got excited over good discounts for a couple of XCOM games, only to find that the prices shown weren't the same as the prices on the game pages, just the same old discount price as always.

https://www.gog.com/en/game/xcom_2_reinforcement_pack (shown as $9.99, but is still $14.99). 50% off

https://www.gog.com/en/game/xcom_2_war_of_the_chosen (shown as $9.99, but is still $13.79). 75% off

Was gonna be an instant buy.

I give up in disgust, no point browsing the Halloween Sale page if I am just going to be shown incorrect prices or end up on pages I never wanted to go to, and then having to reload the bloat.

P.S. GOG you need to get rid of the hover popups, because on my PC they are slow to appear, though not too slow to mistake my click while still not visible yet.

kai2: (wasn't XCOM 2 $2.99 @ 90% off awhile back? now it's $5.99 @ 90% off.)
Historical low here was $3.59 according to isthereanydeal (lowest was free on Steam last December) but, yeah, cheaper than this "90% off." Weird.

GOG.com: we can help you decide which game to play during Halloween with our special QUIZ.
Whoops. You featured an enemy from Prey (2006) which is not available for sale on GOG. If you need an enemy reference for Prey (2017), have a look at this Prey wiki.

fronzelneekburm: Well, it's still at least 5 bucks too expensive.
By Xmas it might be a more realistic price.
It will have to be if they want my money.
I'm a bit disappointed that Ravenloft isn't on sale as if vampires are not Halloween enough. Otherwise this is a nice sale.

Glad you can see the games; I have no idea if it's nice or not, the servers have been overloaded for the past several minutes for me. Frustrating.

Yeah, I've been waiting for all of those D&D series collections. ;)
Too bad that all promo pages are dead...

I can confirm that Helloween promo page is working but other promo pages still don't.
Another year and no Castlevania Lord of Shadows I & II.

Saw them go on sale elsewhere and really hoped this might be the year they some to GOG. Oh well...

Unfortunately that list is still worse than ciemnogrodzianin's posts since there is no way to make the items small enough to get an overview. The list view should have landscape format images to save space.
Hey everyone! Just wanted to let you know that we're experiencing problems with the main Hallowen Sale page but our Team is already on it and everything should be back to normal soon - will let you know once it does!

Or even game icons to save vertical space and traffic.
