mrkgnao: You might also want to discuss the related "New" tab, which shows only the ten newest additions to the catalogue (since the "Show more" button does nothing of the kind) and has also overflowed today, making it that much harder to find out which games have been newly added today.

HunchBluntley: This would be irrelevant if they brought back the "by date added" sort order in the main search page. Why they took it away in the first place, I can't even guess.
Perhaps because it is a pain to maintain it correctly, both backwards and forwards (I should know, as I had implemented it in MaGog).

SpiderFighter: I was hoping for Sanitarium (no luck), but I did find a few treats hiding in amongst the tricks this year.
A fine choice, but it's too bad you missed the giveaway back in June. I was trying to drum up interest in donated gift codes that were about to expire, and there were still no takers.

Syphon72: Edit: I want to buy HZD but that 100gig download is scaring me. haha

mqstout: It's a really good game if you like strong narrative, exploration, or open world games at all. Or just like kick-ass combat. It can get pretty crap loading times if you don't have any SSDs though. It doesn't need that high of a spec to play on low settings. But it has a ton of voiceover and textures-in-case-you-do-have-high-end-card.
I had the game on PS4 never got into it much. But I'll give it another chance and to support more Sony games coming to GOG. Maybe one day Sony will port Killzone series over to the PC.

I wonder if the top sellers list is manipulated . DoS II can't be this popular .
Sure it can. 131K reviews on Steam, which is not as popular as Witcher 3 (550K reviews), but drastically more popular than DA: O (13K reviews) or HOMM 5 (< 3K reviews). It was a well-reviewed, well-received game and is indeed highly popular, and was instrumental in forcing mainstream RPGs to become turn-based again, after they had largely become real-time with pause. (Look at games like Pathfinder and Pillars of Eternity 2, which hacked in turn-based modes after the fact.)

Call me naive but I don't think it is. I do think it's updated more frequently than in the past.

The current bestsellers make a lot of sense (Cyberpunk2077, DOS2, the Witchers, Horizon Zero Dawn, etc). Other than maybe Curse: The Eye of Isis, but that's crazy cheap, 29 cents.

I know!!! I saw it a couple of weeks too late and am still kicking myself! lol Oh well, maybe it will be included in the Thanksgiving sale.
Navigating the sale pages is a pain.
Simple lists are boring, I know, but they are clear and you don't have to scroll so much and the site doesn't have to load all those icons and game cards. Not a fan of the game cards either, they take a moment to pop up and take up too much space. Could you give us a toggle to deactivate that feature at least?

Browsing through different collections certainly isn't fun with the new layout/format.

GOG.com: ...
I applaud letting in so many games at once (the DreadXP titles). What I personally want to buy is Remorse: The List. (technically DRM-free on Steam but I want to buy it from a non-Steam store)

Other ideas were
DreadOut: Keepers of The Dark
White Day: A Labyrinth Named School
Night at the Gates of Hell, Murder House, and other Puppet Combo games
Night Trap - 25th Anniversary Edition

It definitely is quite frequent. I was looking at it recently during Devolver promo and list could change very much like hourly.

Which means there are probably relatively small numbers of sells needed to be on the list at the time.

Completely unrelated but somethging happened to Wolfenstein 3D for me. Spear of Destiny is missing from my library and from the store. When trying to download the offline installer for the original Wolfenstein 3D I get a 404 error.

Is it just me or is it one of those problems that are server related because of the sale?

They merged Wolf 3D and SoD into one package as part of Bethesda simplifying the id Software store listings and yes you are right currently the game can't be downloaded. Hope this is being fixed soon.

I just don't understand why so many horror themed games are not on sale . The wonders of the Gog sales team 's brain .
