Well I thought I might try this using my YouTube account. What's the harm if all I need to do is to log-in using another account. However, I got to the part where it states that "Gleam would like to:

1. View your email address
2. View your basic profile info
3. Manage your YouTube account

Now the first two are not too intrusive, but the third is way over the top and completely unacceptable. According to the info pop-up for the third option this would allow Gleam to:

"View and manage your videos and playlists

View and manage your YouTube activity, including posting public comments"

WTF!!!! Why the hell would I allow ANY third-party this kind of access to my videos and playlists and why the hell does Gleam even need this??????

If I "Deny" the access requested, which I most certainly have done, then I am simply taken back to the closed beta widget and am therefore denied access to the beta.

This kind of attempt to intrude on players privacy is frankly disgusting and I will not entertain it. Count me out, and I suspect many others too. I hope that those that do participate fully understand what they are agreeing to.

Do you know why people are using GOG? Why do you think we want to give you access to other accounts? Really stupid -try this again and I will go back to steam!

I would like to play Gwent but I refuse to use Galaxy, I only want direct downloads I control so much prefer the GoG downloader (yes I know it is no longer supported)

Looks like I will have to wait for a full release before playing Gwent. Pity.

I share people's trepidation about having to login elsewhere, especially the user above who said they were asked to allow certain number of permissions, not good really.

Seriously?, am logged at GOG.Galaxy and if you have Gwent beta KEY than alow me to claim it directly from Galaxy. I dont want to share my YT, FB or Twitter with shitty Glame. Big disappointment :( Also this looks like phishing for allowing 3rd party services viewing/managing our YT accounts. GOG is getting greedier every year :(
