For the first time since the launch of Diablo I go NO CAPTCHA! I was like holy shit! and woke up half the people in my house -_-

I noticed something, Every time a big event like a major release or sale happens I see captchas every damn day but when it's dead I see none. I wonder if that is put up for reasons of those days?

I hate captcha. Probably sending off identifying info to Google, helping them to build better AI to further rape privacy. And it's just annoying, shifting the burden of solving of a site technical problem onto users as an obstacle.

I never had captchas at GOG. But fu*king much at Humble Bundle or Nexus.
Hi

someone tell me what the right way ..
I bought a game and can't download it for reCAPTCHA.
Earlier I put out a picture of "picking out a bike but not having it"
Whatever I do whatever I try
I paid for something I could not use it is not truth

HAHAHA. That was exactly what I was talking about earlier when I said...

Engerek01: It is best when you are asked to click bus pictures but there aren't any.

And asked traffic lights and a fraction of the light is on an other tile. Should I click it or not?

I also love it when you click a tile and it disappears and something else appears. I ask myself, is this a new game on GOG?
I love GOG and all its problems :)

my dear friend: D
I want to play like everyone, but for me the bus game is just boring
I had to enter one captcha recently when redeemed game code and that's all for months. My login stays up for a long time, cart does not need anything to process payment too.
I can give general advice for solving captchas faster. If you have logged your good trustworthy google account logged in at the time of captcha Google will go easy on you, can skip captcha or show short one for 1 screen with fixed images (not these annoying reloading storefronts). Make sure to always approach Google captcha with your account opened in same browser and it will be much easier. Also to avoid continual reload don't click fast. if you solved screen fast it will reload regardless of your result. Click, wait 3 seconds, repeat. That will ensure 1-2 screens even if you're not logged in to google instead of 4-5 if you click fast.
Why I know that? I was greatly annoyed with this thing and did my research :)
That captcha only seems to happen if you clear the cookies.

Forbid that anyone clear cookies. Crikes. Gog, some of us don't like the advertising/tracking ways of the net. And to push captcha on us for clearing cookies is pretty lame.
Using Firefox, strict blocking of trackers, cookies, enabled, plus some privacy add-ons and ublock., deleting session cookies and other data does not cause this.

From personal experience, the most likely cause is using a proxy server. It doesn't happen with every proxy server. The other possibility is VPN which can also cause this. In most cases it should suffice to change proxy address or deactivate VPN. Changing your DNS may also help, using Google public DNS for instance, or Comodo Secure DNS or some other one known and trusted.

If this isn't the problem, maybe you will find some possible solution here: www.webnots.com/fix-im-not-a-robot-captcha-issue-in-google-search/

official standpoint

Hello,

I'm afraid that at the moment we do not have an immediate plan to remove this security feature.

Did you try redeeming the game a different device? (like on your phone or tablet)

Please try clearing your browser's cache, performing a clean refresh (Ctrl+R) of the page.

If you're using intrusive plugins, like JavaScript and ad blockers, please try disabling these, to see if they were causing the problem

Please also check if your antivirus or firewall software is not interfering- ideally by adding gog.com to its whitelist/trusted list

I managed to play with a hard, random click

I clear them too:)

garvanell: So I just spent around 10 tries at the captcha ('try again') with the slow refreshing pictures (taking around 5 seconds to appear) and almost gave up.
What do you mean i didn't select all the fire-hydrants??
Am I wrong in thinking that the captchas are part of teaching googles AI and that the other users answers are part of the evaluation. So if everyone clicks on the bus in a question that asks for cars but you don't then you are wrong. Likewise if you correctly identify a blurry blob or distant car but most don't then you will again be wrong. Basically being lazy and not making sure things fit or just miss clicking is as likely to get you through as being precise. Also google evaluates your ip so if you have a static ip you are likely to have less issue but if you are in an area where a lot of scammers are from or route through then you have more. So even if you are correct but google doesn't like your ip then you will be failed to make you go through more tests.

Whatever the case there needs to be an alternative that is locally hosted requiring connections to google from a commercial site is not something I like in anyway whatsoever.
