So I just spent around 10 tries at the captcha ('try again') with the slow refreshing pictures (taking around 5 seconds to appear) and almost gave up. I might've just been unlucky with the picture selection or having a stroke of selective stupidness. Anyhow.

This is effing infuriating.

Does it have to be like this?

Hm, I never have to do this captcha thing when I log into GoG.

Fairfox: I found out that when you add cheese on top of Kraft Dinner it adds a extra layer of suspense that can only be enjoyed by best of us. When adding Cheese to anything you can change reality and things surrounding you and loved ones for minutes at a time, Just think of it for a second.

Lastly if you have a thing for 3 layer cheese noodles you "CAN" add one more layer and this is called tyranium. this is what men dreamed of for years and is now part of your daily dinner dish.

Thanks and enjoy your stay at the GOG forums.
Fairfox… Why do you keep re-posting this post I put into another OP's board? -_- and yes Kraft Dinner is amazing we all know lol.

- Select all images with cars.
I did -> Error
- Select all images with cars again.
I selected a flower, a cat and a donkey and it let me in.
I agree. For several days now Google captchas on GOG (and also on some other sites) are really annoying again. Sometimes I have to click through ten different captchas before the site finally lets me log in.
Agreed, Found this issue on GOG Galaxy and the SUPPORT page Irritating doesnt cover it. Suggest replacing w/ a 2 Factor authentication or at least 2 factor bypass.
Godd)$^* fire hydrants.

If I had to guess, I'd say it's an issue with Google. A couple of days ago I wanted to log in to my HB account, got an increased amount of picture-sets with cars, buses, traffic lights, bicycles, crosswalks, stairs, hydrants, and if that wasn't enough, had the traffic lights sets again and again in between every one of the aforementioned. Only to be told in the end that the system couldn't verify me (i.e. locked me out of my account) and if I thought this was a mistake, I should click on the back button, and do it all over again.

No, it's an issue with GOG, definitely. GOG could easily choose not to allow any captcha bull crap on their site, period. Yet they don't.

Should I assume that you didn't read beyond the part of my post you quoted, or that you missed that I described my experience on Humble Bundle (HB)?

I'd be happy to see this Google Captcha thing be eliminated anywhere it's being used, GOG included, but the increased amount of picture-sets one has to go through, and the system potentially failing at the end, isn't a GOG issue; this is a Google (i.e. a third-party) system, and it misbehaving/failing on more than one site it's used on, indicates it's a core/central (i.e. Google) issue.

EDIT: typo

Partly in relation to Google using cookies. I found when using Ghostery or adblockers and tracking blockers I get a lot more captchas. When I throw caution to the wind and let them track me I am logged in automatically because my cookies say I am a legit if not creepy person.
